Fear

We give fear way to much credit!  First let's dissect the word.  According to the dictionary, fear is a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid. Now that we have that understanding we must realize that fear is the emotion not the action.  We may fear gaining too much weight, but when we eat too much that is the action that causes us to gain weight, not fear itself.  Similarly, we may fear being broke, but spending too much is the action that causes us to be broke.  We must reclaim our lives by not being fearful of what will make our lives purposeful.  I once read on a post from Mompreneur, write down all of your fears now title it to do list!  I thought that was profound.  What you are probably fearful of is what you must overcome to get to where you need to be.  Stop dreaming about tomorrow and put your to do list to work.  Make baby steps and eventually you will crawl, crawl and eventually you will walk, walk and eventually you will run!
